A girl’s education is a significant starting point in not only the life of that child but also initiating the beginning of the rise of a new family introducing equality in their lives in the state of Rajasthan. After Independence in 1947, we have stressed on the three concepts of Democracy like the Equality, Liberty and Fraternity.

Even though the Indian Constitution is giving importance to the concept of equality, promising equality before the law and non-discrimination on the basis of sex, 96% of the society is based on the male domination, except some families in Kerala and West Bengal.

Let us understand the concept of freedom for girls, it is not just being free from getting controlled by others, it is bringing the peace with you.

This will consist of various activities being performed like:

  • Freedom to Speak.
  • Freedom to Choose Careers.

Developing a good and positive attitude in the minds of the girl child is vital as it will give them good foundation in their lives to groom their offspring’s.

Education is vital for the growth of a girl child in Rajasthan and educating girls is still a major hurdle in other states. Our nation has made tremendous progress with an increased literacy rate from 55 % to 71% in 2020. Furthermore the education is girls still requires a lot of improvement in Rajasthan as the superstitious beliefs and age customs are still on a high.
