INCENTIVES UNDER THE NEW GUJARAT TOURISM POLICY

  • Providing the subsidies under the eligible capital investment to 20% at the identified tourist centres in the state.

  • Giving the capital subsidies to the Tour operators, Caravan, Mobile Caravan facilities, sailing infrastructure at many places in Gujarat.

  • Interest subsidies of 5% up till INR 3 Lakhs per annum for 5 years for establishing new offices in the Municipal Corporations in Gujarat.

  • 100% relief from the electricity duty for the period of 5 years for new projects coming up like the Hotels, Motels, Resorts, Lodges and others in the state.

  • Giving discount to the foreign tourists of 5% at the registered hotels and resorts and 10% discount on doing the purchase of Garva Gurjari using the Gujarat Tourism Card and E-Vouchers.

  • Assistance of INR 5 Lakhs for the Rural Tourism fair organisers, for showcasing their culture, beliefs, traditions and handicrafts within the state of Gujarat.

  • Reimbursement to the Motel, Resort, Hotel and other Tour Operators for offering the employment to tourist guide by offering the 25% of the monthly remunerations.

  • Giving INR 6000 to the Tour Operators, Drivers, Housekeeping, Bell Boys, Guides for a period of 5 years.
