Green sceneries, huge domes touching the skyline, and the symbol of the royal inheritance, fairs, festivals, exhibitions and attractive street marketplaces are the spectacle to witness. Andhra Pradesh has it all and also known for its rich and multi faced cultural and political history. The rich cultural heritage holds the key to being the cynosure state of India.

Andhra Pradesh is one of the 29 states of India, situated on the south eastern coast of the country. The state is the 8th largest in India and is the 10th largest by population, has one of the lengthiest coast lines running along the Bay of Bengal, bordering Odisha and Tamil Nadu. It is the powerhouse of enormous deposits of minerals and very rich in agriculture and industrial development.

The state has seen extraordinary rise in the field of Transport, Science, Technology, Education, IT and BT, Industries, Medium and Small Scale Industries, Tea and Coffee Plantations, and Textiles.

However lack of finance, investments and deficiency of resources has affected the evolution and development of the state of Andhra Pradesh. Furthermore, along with this AP has been target to many natural calamities like cyclones, thunderstorms, landslides, typhoons and flash floods in the recent years. This leads to the formation of the Chief Ministers Development Fund for the state of Andhra Pradesh and known as the Andhra Nadu Chief Ministers Development fund.

ABOUT THE CHIEF MINISTERS  DEVELOPMENT FUND:

The state of Andhra Pradesh is having a well-organised physical, social and industrial growth and development. The chief minister’s development fund is gathered by voluntary organisations from various persons like the, government staff, quasi-government personnel, private employees, bank staffs, NRI, Service establishments, Industrialists and others.

The Economic Development Board has been formed under the vibrant leadership of our beloved Chief Minister (Y.J.R) or Yedugiri Sandinti Jaganmohan Reddy to speed up the financial assistance process. The Economic Development Board is the co-ordinatorto encourages the economic growth, investment, reforms, and healthy rivalry among various sectors in Andhra Pradesh. It is the single point of contact for the investments taking place and shaped as per the Andhra Economic Development Board Act of 2018.

OBJECTIVES OF THE CHIEF MINISTERS DEVELOPMENT FUND:

  • It was established in order to offer financial assistance to numerous projects in the state.
  • Offer high quality and relevant backing for all divisions in a logical manner.
  • Provide financial/logistics support for the existing and the new business enterprises.
  • Diverting the funds towards the aptitude building and the skill development training programmes.
  • Allocate the centralised resource in a decentralised manner to reach everybody.
  • Encouraging inter departmental communiqué on numerousissues under the sun.
  • Undertaking economic and policy research on the projects that needs to be funded.
  • Extending financial assistance to the social and economically weaker segments.

EIGHT EXTENSIONS OF THE ANDHRA PRADESH CHIEF MINISTERS DEVELOPMENT FUND:

  1. Strategic Planning and Policy Division:

The division of the Government of Andhra Pradesh will divert its energy towards undertaking the situational analysis taking into account the current internal and external environment of the state. We formulate the objectives and strategies in a disciplined manner ranging from 3 to 5 years. It deals with current analysis, defining the future analysis, understanding objectives and evaluating the activities in a systematic manner.

  1. External Engagement Division:

This division deals with the practice of creating opportunities, enhancing the partnerships and creating new styles for effective engagement with the shared goal towards expansion of the people and the state. The contribution to the society and the economy has been realised due to the direct and continuous engagement with organisations like banks, trade unions, associations to support and develop new business models, business houses, firms, companies follow new practices and their influence in the international affairs in the years to come. It is the major platform for all the interactions with the government of other states and the foreign governments relating to the investment and other issues.

  1. Industrial Promotion and Project Facilitation:

This is the chief department under the Government of Andhra Pradesh to encourage the coordination and effective management in the regional, national and international levels. The core work of this team revolves around the process of offering the advisory services, training packages for the promotion of investment and project allotments in a logical manner. We also offer the networking by organising the fairs, events, and online interactions with the clients. We play a pivotal role in meritoriously implementing the Memorandum of Understanding, Agreements, on behalf of the Government of Andhra Pradesh to act as a vital medium between Government and the potential investors.

  1. Public Private Partnership Division:

Government of Andhra Pradesh believes in starting and executing the projects in the field of Public Transportation, Industries, Handloom and Textiles, Health, Communication, IT, Bio Technology, Electronics, Automobile, Education and other sectors. There is an active collaboration between private company and the government agencies. It is done in the form of Lease, Contracts, Concessions, and the Agreements. They investigate the structure and the PPP (Public Private Partnerships) and it comprises of tax Concessions, Cost Overruns, Liability Protection, and Partial Ownership Rights. Furthermore, they also make sure that due to the Public Private Partnerships in Andhra Pradesh, innovation along with effective use of the resources logically.

  1. Resource Mobilisation Division:

The process of coordinating various resources in creating and expanding the business enterprises in Andhra Pradesh is the resources mobilisation. The core resources for generating and expanding the resources could be in the form of Financial Resources, Human Resources like placing right person in the correct place, up skilling the person. Material resources like limestone are the essential component of making cement. The government has set up a modes tprocess to procure the resources like technology, plant and machinery, land and building, furniture and others.

  1. Entrepreneurship Development Division:

The Government of Andhra Pradeshintroduced this department to develop and enhance the entrepreneurial quality relating to the small business and small industries in a logical manner. The Andhra Nadu Chief Ministers Development fund is incomplete without this division as it assists in nurturing future entrepreneurs in the state. This programme is of high priority as it not only delivers knowledge through the training modules, but transforming the normal human being into a successful entrepreneur.

Furthermore, the Government is also introducing the customised training modules to enhance knowledge on managerial and operational functions like Marketing, Finance, Logistics, Transportation, Time management, Enterprise Management, Banking, HR, and other spheres of Industries.

  1. Policy Science Lab (PSCL):

New technological growth and development has been introduced by the Government of Andhra Pradesh to make the lives of people easier. These developments play a major role in enhancing the speed, quality and provide employment to large number of people in the state.  This department helps the CM of the state to know about the latest policies and updates of the state immediately. They work as a team, gather the relevant data, create new policy and present the policy to the people and promote their welfare.

  1. Special Purpose Vehicle Division:

The Government of Andhra Pradeshto assist the CM in its daily operations, has established the Special Purpose Vehicle Division (SPVD) to assist the people, in creating Environment of Trust, Creating New Capital City, Managing Industries, Citizen Services like Pan Card, Healthcare, Income Certificate, Aadhar Card, Ration Card, Migration, Housing assistance, Transfer, Caste and Nativity certificate, Commerce, Transportation.
