History of the Udaipur Urban Co-Operative Bank Limited

The Udaipur Urban Co-Operative Bank Limited is one of the major initiatives undertaken in Udaipur to protect the interest of the people and promote their welfare. This was established in 1972 and set up by a group of Dawoodi Bohra reformists from Udaipur and we created a strong Co-operative institution to protect the interest of the people and promote their welfare. This financial institution was created under the Rajasthan State Co-operative Act (registration number 1557 Y) and this institution started off with 450 plus members. 

The first branch of the Udaipur Urban Co-Operative Bank Limited was set up in Loha Bazaar and then it was moved to a new location on the Pannadhay Marg and at present we have more than 20 plus branches in Rajasthan. We are the first cooperative bank  in Rajasthan to execute the process of computerising all the branches with immediate effect.

Shri Fida Hussain Safy is the Chairman and Shri Tauseef Hussain is the Vice Chairman of the Udaipur Urban Co-Operative Bank Limited.
