History of the Tamil Nadu State Apex Cooperative Bank

The Tamil Nadu State Apex Cooperative Bank is created in order to protect the interest of the people and promote the welfare of the people give dedicated and flexible leadership at the top and have tremendous growth and development. We have completed 100 years of purposeful existence and enhancing all the economic spheres and providing integrated growth and development. This bank started its operations on November 23, 1905 and headquartered in the mega metro city in South India known as Chennai.

The Tamil Nadu government became a major bank shareholder and was represented on the management on March 27,1957 and according to the recommendations of the All India Rural Credit Survey Committee of the RBI. We also have a rented building located at Adyar in Chennai in 1989 and also invested INR 25 Crores in the Tamil Nadu State Apex Cooperative Bank.
