History of The Nilambur Co-Operative Urban Bank Limited

The Nilambur Co-Operative Urban Bank Limited began its operations much before Indian Independence in 1930. It was established by Raja Sri. T.N. Manavedan Thirumulpad of Nilambur Kovilakam and he was able to obtain the complete support of the people of Nilambur in establishing this financial institution. This bank was established in order to protect the interest of the common people living in and around Nilambur and Manjeri. We support the weak and middle class people like the Cycle Shop Owners, Provision Shop Owners, Tailors, Carpenters, Goldsmiths, Milkman, Vegetable Vendors and others. There are 10 plus branches working for this bank.
