History of The Andhra Pradesh Mahesh Cooperative Urban Bank Limited 

The Andhra Pradesh Mahesh Cooperative Urban Bank is one of the major banking institution available in Andhra Pradesh. The bank has been established in order to work as per the cooperative principles and execute the newer methods of management in a logical manner and sticking to its various objectives as well. This bank is also known as the Mahesh Bank and it was registered June 30, 1977 and also commenced its operations on August 9, 1978.

On October 26,1996 we became the first cooperative bank in Andhra Pradesh to get the Scheduled Bank status and this was conferred by none other than Dr. C. Rangarajan. This bank has registered as a Multi State Cooperative Society under the Multi State Cooperative Society Act of 1984 and from May 30, 2001 we have been able to dominate on this position in entire South India.
