History of Sahebrao Deshmukh Cooperative Bank Limited

Sahebrao Deshmukh Cooperative Bank Limited was set up on February 11, 1973 by Mr. Sahebraoji Deshmukh and he was honest and diligent person willing to create and reach new zenith in the professional life. The branch opened with the head office located at Sakinaka in Mumbai city of Maharashtra. We believe in offering lot of Core banking and other associated solutions to the customers in Maharashtra state. Since its inception 41 years ago, we are good in offering the core banking and computerised banking solutions to the needy. 

After the death of Sahebrao Deshmukh in 2005, the board members decided to change the name of the bank from Shramik Sahakari Bank Limited to Sahebrao Deshmukh Cooperative Bank Limited. They submitted the request to the Reserve Bank of India and now it is known as SDC.
