PT Bank Maybank Indonesia Tbk, formerly known as Bank Internasional Indonesia (BII) is one of private banks in Indonesia and it considers a part of Maybank, one of the biggest financial groups available in ASEAN (Association of South East Asian Nations). Earlier the Maybank Indonesia was known as PT Bank Internasional Indonesia Tbk (BII) founded on 15 May 1959, and got its license from the foreign exchange bank in 1988 and got enrolled in the Jakarta Stock Exchange and the Surabaya Stock Exchange, both of which are merged as Indonesia Stock Exchange in 1989.
