Nav Jeevan Co Operative Bank Limited is the brain child of a popular BJP MLA Shri Sital Harchandani. We started on a very low note in 1985 and within a year we were able to create 8 plus branches in Maharashtra. Our head office is located at Ulhasnagar and we believing in bringing the true meaning of the Cooperative Movement to the state of Maharashtra state and make a huge difference to the lives of the people.

Legal Issues

 For the first time a cooperative society in Maharashtra came under the scanner where in there was a rental scam.

• This rent scam (Bhaada Ghotala) was first exposed in 2008 by Manoj Motwani, a major share holder of the bank. Motwani complained against the bank in Ulhasnagar Municipal Corporation (UMC). After a detailed investigation, the UMC found the bank guilty and was fined Rs 1,21,96,512. Taking advantage of Abhay Yojna the bank paid a fine of Rs 1,19,83,233. This destroyed the strong reputation of the bank for some years.
• Banks Chairman and the Directors sons and daughters loans has been waived off and some of them are big defaulters on the loan that they have taken earlier. Many alleged that Mr. Sital Harchandani is running the bank like his personal property with zero accountability.
