History of Maharashtra Gramin Bank

Maharashtra Gramin Bank is set up to develop the rural areas of Maharashtra and give them an independent life. It is under the Ministry of Finance and has got the head office located at Aurangabad. Furthermore, we offer the banking services to all the rural areas and also make sure that we are computerised. We have more than 400 plus computerised branches all over Maharashtra and we have made our presence felt in Nanded, Latur, Beed, Aurangabad, Nasik and Thane.

Maharashtra Gramin Bank was set up on July  20th, 2009 after merging the Maharashtra Godavari Gramin Bank and Marathawada Gramin Bank as per the notification issued by Government of India, Ministry of Finance. Furthermore, we believe in making bank very competitive by bringing in  new IT solutions, offering basic amenities to people,  adopt powerful and effective IT models to offer services, increase flow of financial assistance agriculture, small business, contractual labourers in order to achieve surplus growth.
