History of Jana Small Finance Bank Limited

Jana Small Finance Bank Limited is a bank having a wonderful and glorious history of amazing achievements and we consider customer as the epicentre of all our activities. Furthermore, we are working hard to meet our customers demand and also encourage the customers to have a good life. We came into being in 1999 and is the first Urban Micro Finance bank that is created along with the Sangamithra Express. In the year 2000 we disbursed the 1st group loan in Bengaluru and Sangamitra scheme began to be known as the Janalakshmi Scheme and in 2008 RBI gave the license to Janalakshmi Financial Services. We in 2009 got more than 1 Lakh Customers. 

In 2010 we launched various financial enterprises to boost our banking segments and have more than 700 plus branches in Karnataka. Dr Subhash Kuntia is the Chairman of the Jana Small Finance Bank Limited and Mr. Ajay Kanwal is the MD and CEO of the Jana Small Finance Bank Limited.
