The Export Import Bank of India is one of the major bank created in 1982 having the head office in Mumbai in Maharashtra State.  Exim Bank was created by the Government of India, under the Export-Import Bank of India Act, 1981 as the sole institution to handle the export credit, dealing with the global Export Credit Agencies.
