History of Bank of India

The Bank of India is one of the nationalised bank of India set up under the Ministry of finance on September 7,1906 with the headquarters in Mumbai in Maharashtra. We are having more than 5108 plus branches and 5551 ATM having a pan India presence. We are the core member of the (Society for Worldwide Inter Bank Financial Telecommunications) also known as SWIFT, offering cheap and best financial processing and enabling good communication services all over the nation. The Bank of India occupies a prominent place among various nationalised banks in the country. 

Furthermore, there are 50 plus zonal offices having pan India presence to control various branches and ATM. We came up with the IPO in 1997. Mr. Sasoon David was the leading promoter of the BOI and had good knowledge of trade and commercial activities. We have overseas branches in Japan, Nigeria, Hong Kong, Kenya, Singapore, Uganda and Tanzania.

Shri Atanu Kumar Das is the Managing Director and CEO of the Bank of India having more than 26 plus years of experience in Indian Banking Sector and did various presentation for various IIM's.
